Our professional-grade washout booth is built to last a lifetime of abuse. The Total Joy Washout Booth is constructed from heavy-gauge aluminum and features 100% stainless steel hardware. We use extremely rigid .062" thick aluminum (.062" is thicker than 16-gauge steel and is approximately the thickness of a quarter). Additionally, because our panels are made of aluminum, they will not rust, and since they are not painted, they will never chip or peel.
Economical choice: Our washout booth kit ships inexpensively by UPS Ground without the need for special crating and LTL truck freight fees. If you have ever priced out a washout booth, you know that the crating and LTL truck freight costs range from $400 to over $800, and that is just for the crating and shipping. Our kit has NO CRATING FEE and ships for about $50 through UPS!
Once our kit is assembled, it attaches to a standard MUSTEE brand "Utilatub" laundry tub, which is purchased separately at any home improvement store for around $65 (see links below). This allows our washout booth kit to be very compact and light enough to avoid the "overweight package" UPS handling charges.
Assembly is straightforward; all you need is a Phillips head screwdriver and a 7/16" wrench. Assembly takes about 1 hour. (You will also need a caulk gun for the included tube of GE clear silicone.)

1. Sink Basin:
You will need to purchase a Utilatub #14 sink. You only need the sink. **DO NOT purchase the "Combo Kit," which includes a spigot. - Purchase only the sink with legs.** This sink can be purchased at any big-box home improvement store. They are usually in stock, but sometimes you may need to order one and have it delivered to the store (which is free). Note: Make sure you purchase Utilatube style 14, UPC code: 6 71031 00503 8

2. Backlighting:
Included with the kit are four modular brackets that will let you use a variety of light sources for your backlighting.
Two, 24", 20W LED lights work best; however, our modular brackets are very accommodating and will allow almost any lights to be used as backlighting options. If you already have some fluorescent or LED lights, you should be able to get them to work!
We have tested and recommend the following LED lights, available on Amazon. The item contains two lights. They are inexpensive, work great, and are very simple to set up. WARNING: You must have all electrical components plugged into a GFI outlet to avoid shock or electrocution.
