Ink Innovation's new 150 Ultra-thin mesh pushes thin-filament mesh technology to the absolute limit. Because we use mesh with extremely thin threads, the openings are much larger than normal mesh. Additionally, because the threads are thinner, the resistance created by mesh interference is greatly reduced.  The combination of larger openings and reduced thread interference allows larger volumes of ink to pass through the mesh with minimal squeegee pressure. 

A great way to think about our special 150-thin-mesh is that the openings are the size of a standard 110 mesh, however, there are almost twice as many openings per square inch.  (A 110 mesh has 12,100 openings per square inch, while our 150 mesh has 22,500 openings per square inch.). And the thinner threads allow the ink to flow without resistance. It's like printing through air!

Our 150 ultra-thin mesh is dyed yellow for optimum image accuracy and extremely crisp edge definition. 

Benefits when using PLASTISOL Ink: Because minimal force is required to transfer ink through the mesh, very soft squeegee blades can be used, further increasing the amount of ink that can be transferred. Because minimal pressure is needed to transfer the ink, the ink deposit will sit on top of the fabric rather than being driven into the fabric, providing greater opacity. -- Depending on the ink and blade used, many prints on dark fabric can be printed with one stroke without flashing. 

Benefits when using WATER-BASED Inks:   Water-based inks easily pass through the mesh, fully penetrating and encapsulating the fabric with minimal printing effort. Additionally, because the mesh openings are larger and the filament fibers are thinner, WB ink will resist the tendency to dry in the mesh. 

Benefits when using SPECIALTY INKS: Discharge ink prints like a dream, resists drying in the screen, and will wet out the fabric to ensure complete dye discharge!  Jewel tones, fine glitters, and various metallics can be printed with excellent detail and excellent coverage. Puff inks and other specialty inks can be printed with fine detail and excellent coverage. 

What is special about our 23 x 24" ALUMINUM Frame?

• Four left chest prints can be ganged  (rather than only two)
• A 16" squeegee can be used in either direction
• The screen can be used in an automatic press
• Each frame is laser etched with the mesh count and an individual serial number.

Thin mesh frames seem too good to be true... There has to be a catch? 

Yes, unfortunately, there is a downside to Ultra-thin-Mesh. All of the great benefits of thin-mesh come at a cost.  DURABILITY is greatly sacrificed. Thin mesh screens are EXTREMELY  FRAGILE.  It is not a matter of "IF" the screen mesh will break, but "WHEN". - Our mesh is the thinnest of all the thin mesh in the 150 mesh count range on the market today, and it is also the MOST DELICATE.  If you handle the frames with care, they will last for many years. However, if your workers break standard mesh regularly, then these screens will probably not last very long.

To remind workers how delicate the mesh is, we have taken the time to screen-print every frame using a special epoxy ink, the following massage: "WARNING: Very delicate - Handle with love"

Our thin mesh frames are incredibly delicate, and because of this, we are offering a limited warranty. 

TERMS OF WARRANTY:

1. If your frame arrives torn/ripped/popped, we will refund the full cost of the frame. (Customers are required to send photos on the day received.)

2. If your frame is torn/ripped within the first week from the day of receiving, we will refund 1/2 the cost ($25). 

Ink Innovations makes every effort to ensure your screens arrive in perfect condition. We ship our frames in specially designed, custom-made boxes. We also send customers a photo of their order/screens before placing the screens into the shipping box.
